The History:

The Remains:

I have absolutely no idea where the animatronics for Kong went. Usually, animatronics are repurposed or sold, but I’m assuming that this wasn’t feasible because of Kong’s size. If anyone knows, please comment below. The only thing I know for a fact is that the original track and buildings remain at Universal Studios today as the Revenge of the Mummy ride.

The Plan:

We either need to steal the entire show building for Revenge of the Mummy, or rebuild Kongfrontation entirely. This one is going to be quite expensive. At least it looks cool on Defunctland’s new map:

  1. I forget who exactly it was, but I remember seeing someone posting that they bought one of the ride vehicles from a junkyard in Orlando not far from the park. He had the pictures of it sitting in his backyard…This was years ago I saw this, but if I find it again, I will post the link here…

I am working on a scale replica of the Kong encounter at Universal Hollywood, if you would like to see pics, please let me know where I can post them. Thanks!
